Engaging the Public on Climate Resilience in Tbilisi

EU4ClimateResilience joined the Europe Day celebrations held on 9 May 2026 at Expo Georgia in Tbilisi, taking part in one of the country’s largest public events dedicated to European cooperation.

Throughout the day, the project welcomed visitors to an interactive space focused on climate awareness and environmental responsibility. Families, young people, and children actively participated in a variety of engaging activities designed to make climate-related topics more accessible and relatable to the wider public.

Visitors explored educational materials and took part in interactive quizzes and games that encouraged discussion around climate resilience, sustainable lifestyles, energy saving, and environmental protection. The activities created an open and dynamic environment where participants could learn more about climate action through participation and hands-on engagement.

Project stand attracted strong interest from visitors of all ages, with many participants enthusiastically testing their knowledge, engaging with the project team, and learning more about the importance of community involvement in addressing climate challenges.

By combining awareness-raising with interactive public engagement, the initiative aimed to encourage greater understanding of climate resilience and highlight how everyday actions can contribute to a more sustainable future.
